Dare I say it? Alright... I enjoyed this a lot more than American Beauty. Well, "enjoyed" is kind of a strong word, but this film is captivating and well-shot. The shootout in the rain is perfectly shot, one of the best scenes I have ever seen on film.
Tom Hanks is fantastic, as well as Paul Newman. Jude Law and Daniel Craig each turn in menacing performances. The film is dark and depressing, which usually isn't my cup of tea, but it works so well.
I cannot recommend this film enough.
