Review of Road House (1989) by Richard W — 04 May 2009

I Love this film. It has Swayze in top form, a gorgeous Kelly Lynch burning up the screen, a great bad guy from Ben Gazzara and a fantastic soundtrack. And just when you think it cant get any better Sam Elliott appears as the coolest dude in town.

Yes its just a 80's action flick which gets a bit silly at times and yes the story's been done a zillion times as a western but every time I watch this I end up with a massive smile on my face and a desire to become a cooler and who can ask for more then that from a film. Id watch it every night if the wife would let me. Fantastic!!!
