Pure escapism! Road house is a movie with sex and violence. There is action and eye candy (male and female) which blends into a script about a professional bouncer who is sent to fix a bar and ends up fixing a town.

Road house is a mix of over the top action, humor and romance. Road House's script pulls off a daunting task of mixing the above mentioned plot themes and creates an entertaining movie. The movie's strongest asset is Patrick Swayze's perfromance.

I like how Patrick Swayze's character Dalton is a professional bouncer who is a philosophy major. A man who is physically strong and, mentally wise. A strong supporting cast with Sam Elliott (his friend) and Ben Gazzara ( the bad guy) helps tell the unfolding story of the rugged individual who could not be broken.
