Review of River's Edge (1986) by John B — 11 Nov 2007
Gripping drama with great performances all around. It's too bad Keanu doesn't make more films like this one. This film does a better job of capuring what it was like to be a headbanger in the 80's than any other film I've seen.
One of Dennis Hoper's best lines ever: (talking about his accident) "I remember thinking, well, there's my leg, and I wonder if there's any beer in that can...".
