In most 80s teen flicks, the poster has the characters looking pensive and they're usually worried about the next big dance or who's dating who (see Pretty in Pink or Some Kind of Wonderful). The kids in River's Edge are worrried about their friend who just killed his girlfriend.
For no reason. An amazing film with an amazing cast including Keanu Reeves before he got annoying.
