Script, sets, and costuming/make up all top notch. Liked the perspective on the Roman rule and the politics of the age. Aside from the little known disciple Bartholomew coming off like a surfer dude I enjoyed the acting.
Humour and the level of suspense were unexpected and welcomed surprises. Also the actor who played Malfoy(Tom Felton) in the Harry Potter series shows up. Hello Malfoy I mean Lucius.
