Review of Risen (2016) by Richard Y — 20 Apr 2016
First half seems like a modern day detective drama set during Jesus' crucifixion but the latter half sees a beaming but benign resurrected Jesus mysteriously guiding his disciples and our detective to the sea while evading Roman soldiers on the way.
Whispering mumbling actors render most dialog inaudible, hardly an epic moment, TV-movie like. Forgettable.
