Review of Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) by Somethingnew — 06 Aug 2011
I was excited about seeing this movie and I really wanted to like it. When the main character is a computer generated monkey, it's hard to get emotionally wrapped up in a move. James Franco and John Lithgow were stand outs but the premise took a long time to develop and the action came very late in the movie.
Overall, it was decent. Not great.
