In the event of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes opening soon, I thought I'd re review this! I watched this again recently and man was this as incredible as seeing it the first time. The story and ape characters were so intriguing and powerful that I was rooting for the apes to win at the end! Very good directing too by Rupert Wyatt creating some really incredible sequences like Caesars first tree climb and the San Francisco battle. Even though the ape characters didn't talk at all (except for Caesar who spoke about two lines in this), their characterizations were all so stunning, being able to tell what these apes were thinking deep down and what they all wanted. Overall terrific movie and if Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is as good as everyone is saying it is, then we're in for quite a treat next week!
