Review of Rise of the Guardians (2012) by Sarfaraz A — 03 Dec 2013
Rise of The Guardians 3D animation film directed by Peter Ramsey - Ramsey also served as an executive-producer of the film along with Guilermo del Toro. The film is based on The Guardians of Childhood by William Joyce - also it is based on short-film The Man in the Moon (William Joyce). It was produced by DreamWorks Animation. Voiceover by Chris Pine (Jack Frost), Alec Baldwin (Santa Claush), Isla Fisher (Tooth Fairy), Hugh Jackman (Easter Bunny), and Jude Law (Pitch). Film was nominated for Best Animated Feature Film by Golden Globe.
Set 300 years after the book series - Jack Frost an invisible spirit of winter is chosen by the Man in the Moon as 'Guardian' - he must reunite with Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, Tooth Fairy and Sandman to protect the children of the seven continents from Pitch - who is engulfing the globe with his dark fear.
From where should I begin, to praise this film? Rise of Guardians is fulltime exciting journey. Perfectly edited, which is topped with timely well-chosen dialogues, including hilarious scenes (where need be). If you enjoyed, or miss watching The Avengers, Rise of The Guardians is the very alternate to fun, you have been looking for.
We have a central character Jack Frost, his background story is convincing - to add much to this, simply I would like more information the background of charming character of Easter Bunny (seemingly equivalent next to Jack Frost). A total entertainment!
