Review of Rise of the Footsoldier (2007) by Irtiza N — 26 Apr 2008

This is the first movie I have seen which has an expletive in every single dialog. By the time you finish watching, you end up talking in British street slang.

Keep your 'jammies on mate, I ain' dun here, no' ye' anyway.

But otherwise the directors have done a pretty good job. The early 80s era as been captured perfectly, so has the mid 90's and the violence is at times pretty gory but still is viewable. A good movie and one of those rare English films you just have to watch.
