(2006) Rise: Blood Hunter.
HORROR.
Lucy Liu stars as Sadie whose just killed an old guy with viewers suspecting theirs got to be a reason, then the film flashes back and we soon learned that she's seeking for some retribution, the movie flashes back and forth between the time she was human to the time she transformed into a vampire and is supposed to be dead. There's some good dialogue but the film is uninteresting since the bigger budgeted films kind of stand out and the action scenes with the main protagonist using a crossbow to wipe the vampires out could be so much better, but what we get instead is a lady who doesn't use the most of her abilities as a vampire and that can turn the entire experience into a repetitive one. This is more like a low budget toned down female equivelent version of the "Blade" movies and that's not saying much!
