Review of Rise Against: Generation Lost - How We Survive (2006) by Kendall I — 01 Oct 2012
This rocked on the terms of being a fan. It's a documentary on teh band Rise Against. How they got started, their personal life, how they connect to their fans, and everything else needed to know as the prepare for the Vans Warped Tour.
For those who don't know,Rise Against is a punk band. Anyway, the doc. was great! I really loved how they connected with their fans; let them get personal, tell them about themselves, and even hung out with them.
In rock bands today, you don't see much of that. It's all about the music and the money! I also see their POV of the life they live now and have lived. If you haven;'t heard of Rise Against, then I suggest if you like punk rock bands with feelings, such as Nirvana, then this might be for you.
The only flaws it had was it was kind of jumpy and...well that's it! Overall,a great documentary abot a great punk rock band.
