Comparisons have been made between this film and Men In Black which is highly unfair to men in black. Where this film fails is in establishing likeable characters and a relationship the audience is invested in between them.
It kept my attention and some if the action scenes were fun but some suffered from making the same mistake of Man Of Steel by causing too much obvious destruction. MIBs success can be linked to its ability to make the audience believe this secret alien underworld operates in plane sight whereas this made this film too obvious to the world.
