Review of Rio 2 (2014) by Robbie N — 12 Aug 2015
I don't seem to agree with the critics (yet again), but I enjoyed this second Rio even more than the first film.
The story focuses upon the characters' return to the Amazon, where a vengeful Nigel and a critical father-in-law contribute to difficult times for Blu and his lady-love Jewel.
I suppose the plot was a bit more adult, which kept my attention; while the visual experience was just bursting with color and imaginative scenes for my girls.
It felt like a non-stop party, and of course there were upbeat tunes to keep the rhythm going!
In a word - Fun!
