Calculating route to Funky Town.
Blu, Jewel, and their three children live with humans in the big city. They aren't pets, more like co-habitants with the humans. Nevertheless, Jewel is from the Amazon jungle and when they get a shot to return, so they jump at the chance. They meet Jewel's family and quickly Jewel decides this is the place for her and her family..Blu isn't so sure.
"I'll be pooping on your party promptly.".
Carlos Saldanha, director of director of several Ice Age Pictures (Ice Age, The Meltdown, and The Age of Dinosaurs), Robots, and Rio, delivers Rio 2. The storyline for this picture is fairly predictable but very well done. The characters were interesting and well written and the voices were well selected. The voices were provided by Bruno Mars, Jesse Eisenberg, Jamie Foxx, Anne Hathaway, Andy Garcia, and Rachel Crow.
"I smell chicken.".
I came across this on HBOGO and thought it would be an awesome movie to watch with my daughter. The animation was beautiful and she enjoyed it for the most part. It did not completely hold her attention throughout the film, but it was an above average addition to the genre. I do recommend seeing this with your child once.
"This ain't an all you can eat competition.".
