As one might expect from a PG-13 certificate, the scares are watered down, along with pretty much everything else. Dreary, rehashed story, cardboard characters and the acting is incredibly sub-par. Naomi Watts was excellent in the two prior installments and her presence is badly missing here.
Dreadful 'crash-grab' sequel.
