Review of Righteous Kill (2008) by Mark A — 16 Sep 2010

Pacino and De Niro take what would have been an average cop movie and make it much better. Their acting is as good as one would expect although they do seem tired at points; but the script is pretty good with a wry sense of humor and some decent lines.

However, despite the strength of the two leads, 50 Cent sucks. Plain and simple. He can't act. In addition, the direction at points leaves something to be desired. And the sex scenes with a 65 year old Robert De Niro could have been excised with no ill effect.

But on the whole, it's great to see these two acting giants finally working together and playing off each other in what could very well be a Made-for-TV Movie.
