Review of Riding Giants (2004) by Sara D — 27 Oct 2007
I sat terrified in my apartment, miles from the ocean, because those waves were just frightening. Trying to imagine what it would feel like to get worked in a wave that big is so scary. Aside from how it made me feel, I really like this documentary.
I've been on a surf doc kick lately, and while I still like The Endless Summer better, I really like the more personal feeling of this one. There are way more interviews, and they're interwoven into amazing footage of some of the craziest rides I've seen.
It's so worth the time to watch this movie.
