Yes, it has Jewel, Tobey Macguire, and *ahem!* Skeet Ulrich. But it's the best period movie (e.g., the dialogue is realistic for the time). Also, it's dark and morally confused. And Geoffrey Wright steals the shows while saying close to nothing.
Further proof that Ang Lee can pretty much do it all.
