Review of Ride with the Devil (1999) by Tom D — 20 Mar 2008
Most Civil War movies paint a picture of good(North) vs bad (south); but any historian will tell you thats not the case.
In this movie we see that not all Confederate soldiers were bad men who wanted to keep their slaves. Some were farmers who lost everything to northern raiders.
To me this is the best telling of the Civil War from the southern side since The Outlaw Jose Wales.
