Review of Ride with the Devil (1999) by Anna P — 05 Oct 2009

I think the only good way to make films about war (or write about it) is to find a story that hasn't been told--like this movie's topic, the vicious guerrilla warfare that went on in Missouri during the Civil War.

It was a minor front at the time, and it's largely forgotten (unless you're a Kansan, and then you learn about Quantrill's Raid in elementary school). Great movie.
