Review of Ride in the Whirlwind (1966) by David M — 31 Mar 2016
Not your usual Western and quite ahead of its time in feeling like a post-western western. This isn't nostalgic for the old days in the west, this is stark and relatively bleak. Wrongly accused men are hunted down like dogs until they become the killers that they were wrongly accused of being.
Slowly and subtly builds tension to a poignant final scene.
