Review of Riddick (2013) by Maryann F — 24 Jan 2014
It's a Riddick Flick... #4 in the series, if you count the animated film, and it's exactly what one expects from the predictable Riddick Series. It perpetuates the "Star Trek" idea that every planet that can support life has almost identical life to what is found on earth.
.. Every planet has puppies to be domesticated, easily, and every planet has a single ecosystem. And if we go by Babylon 5 methos, every sapient species has a recipe for Swedish Meatballs. Good action.
.. Good fights... "Boobies" for the boys... Puppies... Flashbacks... And the baby-daddy to the bounty hunter addict in the first film. Sigh... I WISH I had watched this as background noise and not as something I sat down to watch last evening.
Sigh...
