Much closer in tone to "Pitch Black", this includes references to both other films. Very stylized, and definitely a "B movie", this is nonetheless a lot of fun if you like dark humour and stylized action.
.. which I do. Also, Katie Sackhoff fan service -- I am a guy and I make no apologies for liking that scene, which for the record did serve a purpose, and otherwise she is a kick-ass female character.
