Better than Chronciles and not as good as Pitch Black, Riddick is a solid entry in the pantheon. He starts out lost on a planet he was tricked to being left on and has to survive in the harsh surroundings.
He finds a shelter and is able to send out a signal to be picked up. He knows he is wanted and it will result in bounty hunters. When they arrive he tries to survive in order to get on a ship to leave the planet.
The action and effects are done well and some good suspense makes this an entertaining film.
