Review of Ricochet (1991) by Joe C — 01 May 2013
This is not a movie I own. I happened to be sitting home today and this came on. I checked it out. I am a big Dexter fan so when I saw John Lithgow, who previously to me was only a comedian on 3rd Rock from the sun, and he was this dark crazy killer in Trinity.
I saw in Ricochet where these roots were planted. Blake was a monster of true terrifying proportions. His cackle, his eye, and his pure menacing personality puts him in the books as a key actor to play a psychopath.
The funny thing is I thought that was the only thing to keep me interested, but this turned out to be one of my favorite Denzel roles as well. He was crazy to a point of honesty and trying to prove he wasn't a deviant.
So the combinations of these two titans in their own way makes this a pure thriller that is certainly worth the watch and the own. A future addition to my collection.
