Review of Ricky (2009) by Jean-Michel S — 12 Jul 2009
The film is good writing on a lost marriage woman (Katie)'s love story. The both actor Katie and Paco are do everything base on their desire. She told Paco as she insists to have a daughter (Lisa), so her ex-husband leaves. When her daughter asked her "Mum, will you together with Paco?" Her reply showed she had never think about it.
In fact, Katie is not trust Paco, she think he hurt their son "Ricky". Also Paco would use "Ricky" baby with wings as a tool to earn money. Although his reason is to earn for son's living.
Lisa is jealous and sad of lost her mother's care. She resists her new home mate-stranger father, Paco.
He director try to said that "Ricky" 's appearance and disappearance both can solve this all family problem. But it is too suddenly and unreasonable, Katie, Paco and Lisa suddenly understand, they love and treasure each other very much. It is hard to feeling and touching of this main point. It would be better if he can show it more in detail.
