Review of Rhinestone (1984) by Tim G — 10 May 2008

Yes, it's incredibly silly, completely implausible, mismatched mayhem, but I was surprised to see that it really hasn't dated too badly. If you watch it with no expectations and just enjoy the competent comedic turn from Sly, Dolly's beautiful singing, and some fine city/country cinematography, you shouldn't be too disappointed.

I'm just thankful Stallone has stayed well away from the microphone since!
