Review of Revolutionary Girl Utena: The Movie (1999) by Whitney B — 07 Apr 2008

Filled with more symbolism than the series can shake a stick at, this movie is basically a retelling of the story. It is focusing more on the relationship between Utena and Anthy, so it is best not to expect too much character development if your favorite characters do not happen to be them.

This movie is stunning both audibly and visually, and I highly recommend it!
