Review of Revenge of the Creature (1955) by Jason P — 22 Feb 2009
Yet another decent and enjoyable sequel to the Creature from the Black Lagoon. This film never explains how the creature grew back his scales and gills after the second film, but it does forward the story somewhat by transporting the Creature to an aquarium.
If the films before did not make you feel for the Creature, then this one definitely will when the creature is chained to a bottom of a giant water tank and then repeatedly shocked with a cattle prod.
Over the course of the three films, scientists are revealed to be some of the blackest villains of the modern world.
