Review of Revenge of the Creature (1955) by Chris W — 04 Aug 2009

Not a bad follow-up to the original Creature from the Black Lagoon, but this film does the King Kong route by taking the Creature back to civilization. The film was shot in 3-D (the only 3-D sequel to a 3-D film) and has the first film appearance of Clint Eastwood as an uncredited scientist near the beginning.

The underwater shots are well done and seeing an old aquarium theme park is also fun. Like many old monster movies, the filmmakers never know how to end a film.
