Review of Revenge of the Creature (1955) by Carla Q — 17 Dec 2018

Sequel to the 1954 horror classic The Creature from the Black Lagoon is admittedly a come-down from the original, but manages to be a fairly entertaining follow up. The biggest flaw with this film is the fact that the title monster loses some of the mystery that made it so frighteningly good in the first film, as our monster is literally placed for all to see.

Still, director Jack Arnold's return proves to be helpful. The monster is still an impressive sight. Clint Eastwood plays a lab technician in his first role.
