I got a strong feeling that this was an idea from the French slasher thriller "Inside". However, "Inside" had a far better reason to support the pregant woman torture whereas "Revenge: A Love Story"'s pregant women torture seemed pointless, just for a sick visual gimmick.

Also, same as Ching-Po Wong's previous 2 movies, he still couldn't tell a story through direction properly. He had stayed in Music Video directing stage. And the plot is full of plot holes.
