Saw the documentary "Man On Wire" years ago. When I heard that Robert Zemeckis planned to bring Phillippe's story to screen, I was wondering how he could make this one-single-gimmick biography entertaining.
And I am totally suprised that "The Walk" turn out to be an amazing film. Not because of the storytelling (the character development is really 2-dimension and quite shallow), it's the impresive CG effects that save the film.
The final wire-walking is absolutely stunning and it should definitely be experienced in 3D IMAX.
