I really enjoyed the movie. Yes from the trailer I suspected that her contact with a rapist was just a ploy to gain his trust. However to me this made perfect sense as all of her behavior showed a woman extremely tightly wound with near OCD levels of requiring perfection, and that was before the rape.

I didn't see the menu so much is there way for avenge movie as it was a character study of an extremely controlling woman and what happens to her when her control is taken away. The rest of the story is more about her getting back complete control than it is about revenge.

I thought it was a good movie.
