These critics are nuts! This is a dark and creative take on Oz. I love the settings, new characters, and disturbing qualities. Some movies are applauded for being bold, others are shunned for it; this movie definitely falls in the latter category.
But I guess if all films were rewarded for being bold, the word would no longer apply.
