Who would have thought David Duchovny and Minnie Driver would go together so well? "Return to Me" is better than your average sappy rom-com. I haven't seen this for years, but I got more than a little emotional when I first saw it.
It's just so cute. And I like Minnie Driver in some movies. Mostly just this, "Grosse Pointe Blank" and "Sleepers" actually. Anyway, "Return to Me" is about a guy whose wife has just passed away.
He meets Minnie Driver's character and is completely drawn to her. What he doesn't know is that when his wife died, Driver's character got her heart via a transplant. It sounds way too sappy but it really isn't that bad.
