Review of Return to Me (2000) by Tom M — 02 Feb 2011
About as stereotypical as romantic comedies can get, but in this case almost to its benefit. No other genre has become as disgustingly shallow and lifeless and unworthy of my time, so when it produces something that feels this old-school and legitimately reminds me of movies I adore like Moonstruck and Sleepless in Seattle, it's pretty hard to not come away a bit charmed.
Also, I'm a little bit in love with David Duchovny.
