A film that was as fun as the original, which is really an accomplishment for a direct to DVD sequel. "Return to House on Haunted Hill" packs several decent creepy moments - and even a couple genuine scares - into its compact 79 minute running time.
The acting is decent, and the special effects are surprisingly up to par with the original's, although are several more CGI sequences this time around than before. For a few cheap thrills in B-movie fashion, you might want to check out "Return to House on Haunted Hill" .
.. not a waste of time at all.
