Review of Return of the Jedi (1983) by Tom R — 02 Jan 2016
Following the darker tones of The Empire Strikes Back, the suddenly childish nature of this movie can seem a bit jarring, and the Ewoks really were the first seeds that led to Jar Jar Binks. But having said that, the Jabba's Palace sequence and Luke VS Vader VS Palpatine scenes are excellent, even if Death Star II is a bit too similar to A New Hope.
All in all, it's a very enjoyable and respectable movie, even if it seems confused about its target audience.
