Review of Restrepo (2010) by Ray P — 27 Dec 2010
Hard-hitting but routine documentary that follows one year in the life of a U.S. Military troop based in the the deadly mountain ranges of Afghanistan. The fort that they occupy was named Restrepo after one of their fallen comrades. Nothing new or scintilating here --- just more evidence that having our young men dying over in that hell-hole makes absolutely no sense and is not keeping us safe in the least.
Now, if they can finally do a documentary where Bin Laden is found --- that would be interesting!
