Garbled mess of a movie that both pays fan service with painstakingly recreated scenes from the games, but at the same time dumps all over the characters, locations and timelines from the games which feels like a massive f£@k you to those same fans.

The occasional jump scare, but on the whole not as scary as it could and should have been.
