It's just an other example of 'if you want to see a decent video game movie, go watch the fan movies on youtube'. I mean they're at least made by the fans of the series and have a lot more love and care put into them.

when going through this movie it was even difficult to keep up with which actor was playing which RE character, everything was put in a jumbled up incoherent mess and so it was even hard to keep up with the chronological order these sequences were put in.

you think it's gonna start at resident evil 1 but then it cuts to the truck driver and you think 'oh, res evil 2 then?'.
