Review of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter (2016) by Xue Z — 28 Jan 2017
I love the Resident Evil Franchise as terrible as the last two films were. This one however is by far one of the better films. It has a bad tacked on intro that hampers the story more than it helps, but once the film got past this it never looked back.
-Good- fantastic action, no lame boss fights and shotguns shooting quarters. Intriguing story, return of claire, a few amazing set pieces and fairly good resolution to the series.
-Bad- LAME intro. cheesy one liners. no emotional depth around character deaths. poor explanation on wtf Alice was doing underground for so long.
