I think the reviews are harsh.
Acting not great but it never is with these movies. For a fun guilty pleasure this movie is good for what it is.
They link a lot of the previous movies together and has decent "twist" at end. The plot is weak but it is there throughout the film.
The Cuts are a lot but not enough to take you out of the movie. The action is definitely there.
Solid Resident Evil movie, if you like the movies then check it out. If you don't then you may like this one either is all.
