Review of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter (2016) by Robin S — 15 Feb 2017
If you're a fan of the films, don't bother. Have any of my buddies been fans of Resident Evil movies? I recently saw the last one, number 6. I wasn't a fan of 5 but loved the others and Milla Jovovich so I had to see it.
In the first 5 minutes it irritated me so much I had to pause and go inside to complain to others in our house that have seen it. THE T VIRUS was developed by Dr. Asheford for his daughter Angela who couldn't walk, same as him.
This was the second movie. The Red Queen was an AI that had a holographic interface that looked like Angela. Dr. Asheford was killed in the second movie. His daughter survived. So, the beginning of the 6th movie, they totally disregard this information that we have been given BY THEM and say the Red Queen was patterned after Alicia some other dudes daughter suffering from Progeria.
Early aging disease I know about because of the X Files. (I did walk inside and ask my dad, not giving any of this info away, what the red queen was, he answered just as I did, and he didn't just watch it this week like I did.
Anyway, besides that which is annoying as hell, they made Albert Wesker the insubordinate of Dr. Isaacs. That is in blatant contradiction of the 3rd movie. Fine I can believe Alice killed Isaacs clone rather than him, but not that Wesker was his bitch.
That's insane. He bullied Isaacs in the 3rd movie, in holograph form. I love these movies, what a let down. Alice is great, it's the story that is RIDICULOUS.
