Review of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter (2016) by Edwin R — 03 Jun 2017

Resident Evil 1 and 2 were good. Then once they got to extinction they started going down hill, first they killed of Angie and didn't explain why, if you did not read the book or go into blogs you would have never known that Alice killed Angie in Detroit.

Also they got rid of Jill Valentine and never explain why, same deal on this one if you did not read the book or go online to research you would not know that Jill Valentine gets mad at Alice for killing Angie so she goes to Detroit to get her payback but gets captured by Umbrella and gets a red spider controlled by the Red queen implanted on her and they take control over her, once again they dont explain none of this.

Then the fourth movie (Afterlife) its starts syncing up again but they still don't explain what happen to Jill Valentine or Angie, and they introduce a new character, Chris Redfield and that's all fine and dandy the movie makes sense in a way, when the movie is done in the middle of the credits they show Jill Valentine with the red spider on her chest but never explained why.

Now we get to the last movie (Retribution) it takes off from where Afterlife left off but once again they go ahead and kill off characters without explaining it (Chris Redfield, his sister) and this time Jill Valentine is back and once again throughout the whole movie they dont explain what happen to her, or get into detail on the relationship status of Jill Valentine and Alice.

Another thing I did not like was when the movie starts Alice has a dream were she is mom then it turns out the dream wasn't a dream???? yeah it confusing. Towards the end Alice and Jill fight each other then Alice rips off the spider that controls Jill, once she takes it off Jill has no memory loss at all, when Alice ripped off the spider from Claire Redfields chest she lost her memory for almost half the movie she didn't even know that Chris Refield was her brother, but when the something happens to Jill she is completely fine, she remembers Alice's name and the weirdest part she HELPS!!!!! Alice, I thought she was mad at her for killing Angie, yet here they are Best Friends again BS!!!! Then the movie ends and you are confused as hell.

Lets see how they mess things up on THE FINAL CHAPTER! I can already tell they will mess it up because Claire Redfield is back!!!! Remember they never explained what happen to her on Retribution. WTF!!!!
