Review of Resident Evil: Retribution (2012) by Ada D — 06 Feb 2016
Resident Evil: Retribution joins Alice on her hunt to seek and destroy those responsible for releasing the deadly T-Virus on the world. Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson. There is so much to say about this film, it felt rushed at times, it felt boring at times and it was short and really went no where.
The Acting was still great, I enjoy Milla Jovovich and the character of Alice is still fun and badass. I think they should have left out the characters from the video game, they didn't have them in the first two movies so adding them now seems odd and can anger fans of the game.
I don't like the direction the story went after part two there was so much they could have done but didn't. I do always enjoy the fun action scenes and slow motion combat but this film was really lacking that excitement.
Overall it could have been a lot better.
