All around weak. I dont know how to judge Mila Jovovich's performance because this is honestly the only thing I've seen from her. The only plus would probably be certain action sequences. But knowing it will continue for quite some time makes me sick.
For some reason they cash in just enough to brand a second number of soulless garbage. The motivation for keeping the story so horribly badly pasted is... well I dunno... Can you really be evil in a world where virtually everything is already dead?
